Alan M Hodge is the leading toastmaster in the Northamptonshire area and required an information-led, visually stunning website to show potential clients. A website that will show a trusted, valued member of your event team, someone that can take command of your event at the right time, encourage your guests to have a good time and more importantly keep your event on schedule.
Alan M Hodge had a plethora of beautiful images to showcase his talents and these were to be used throughout the design.
Seventy9 designed a responsive, full-width website that is full of stunning images of Alan M Hodge the Toastmaster at work. We kept the colour palette quite monochrome with blocks of a bright blue - so as not to distract from the colourful images.
As Toastmasters lead a varied life, it was essential that page content reflected the various duties offered. Visitors to the website want to know why they need a toastmaster. Events were split to ensure events and weddings were covered along with information on the duties of a Toastmaster – have you ever seen a Toastmaster cut the cork from a champagne bottle with his sword!
With more and more people using mobile and tablet devices, we ensured that the images used were responsive to whichever device was being used. Usability is key when creating an image-led, highly visually engaging website; ensuring the fast download of content.
Being a Toastmaster is all about pomp and ceremony; a gallery of images was included so that the Toastmaster could add new portfolio images.
